- 1 Abrëll 2026
- 30 September 2026
Il Seme was founded in 1993 as a voluntary association, with the aim of promoting solidarity, citizenship, inclusion and supporting disadvantaged persons within the diocese of Senigallia. Il Seme gathers all the persons who volunteer within the services managed by Caritas Senigallia, that include shelters, apartments for temporary accommodation for people in need, raise awareness activities and others social services aimed at serving vulnerable people.
Il Seme’s volunteers are a great added value to the work of professionals in providing support to alone women with child, poor people, families facing economic and housing difficult situations, elderly, unemployed people, homeless, people with mental diseases and immigrants. Volunteers never substitute professional social workers, but they collaborate with each other to guarantee services that are more efficient. Volunteers have allowed Caritas Senigallia to guarantee a concrete and diversified contribution to a huge demand of support from the community, for almost 30 years. Thanks to volunteers’ contribution, long-term results in terms of inclusion and better life conditions are reachable and visible.

Gesichten Profil
The volunteer’s profile our organization is looking for is based on the following criteria:
-Personal motivations. We value the volunteers’ interest in the programme proposed and the expectation towards this experience more than specific skills: everything you need to do your service will be learnt here!
-English and Italian level. Italian or English are not needed, of course, a survival level will be helpful to get by in everyday needs, especially because you will be probably in touch with people who don’t generally speak foreign languages. This experience is also your opportunity to improve your communication skills!
-Interest in working with people. Working with people is essential to our work. We also value creative, proactive and self-motivated people.
