Description de la mission :
Schwarzwaldwerkstatt GmbH is an institution operated by the city Freudenstadt and the organizations Lebenshilfen Freudenstadt und Horb/Sulz. It cares for mentally and physically disabled people, and people with mental illness. It operates a workshop with 230 places for mentally disabled people and 30 places in the special needs day care centre. There is also a branch workshop with 90 places for people with mental illness.
Tâches du volontaire :
- A meaningful leisure activity with lots of fun and a variety of encounters
- Professional induction and supervision
- A varied training and further education programme
- Opportunities to meet
- Exchange of experiences with other helpers
The willingness to meet all our residents with appreciation, to support them in their independence and self-determination, and to respond to their particular behavioural characteristics with a wealth of ideas and composure is absolutely essential in this activity.
Profil recherché :
This project is only for young people with less opportunities in terms of education (= without university entrance qualification). Volunteers should like working with disabled people.
