The volunteers will stay in single/double rooms and will live with 15-20 different volunteers from different countries. There is 10 bathrooms, a big kitchen, kitchen utilities(pots, plates and
etc.), living room with TV, washing machine, dryer in common space. In addition to that, there is air-conditioning in each room for heating and cooling. You will have unlimited internet
connection with Wi-Fi in the house. Each volunteer will stay in a double/triple room! There will not be any single room.

Tâches du volontaire:

Our main target group are the young people living in Alcala la Real aged between 13-30. They involve the activities of our association throughout the opportunities that we provide. As Alcala la Real is a rural town comparing the many towns in Spain, we are focusing on increasing the employability and involvement of young people and internationalization of the schools.
The volunteers will involve in the activities of our organisation mainly based on Art and languages, although, they will have a place to practice their own skills concerning to the program that we will develop jointly with the volunteer and Edificio Joven ( Youth Branch ) of Alcala Municipality
Weekly activities of the volunteer :
– Conversation assistant at the local institute (Alfonso XI) for the subjects of Physical Education, IT and English. Collaborate in the development of the class in English, teaching vocabulary and
speaking skills.
– School support for children, help with their homework and games to develop other skills with the Red Cross
– Cooperation and preparation in activities for retirees with the Red Cross
– Support in the dining room of the retirement center from Monday to Friday.
– Support in the local primary dining room (SAFA) from Monday to Friday.
– Helping out the activities of the association when it is needed ( youth exchanges, training courses or local projects )
– Involving in Spanish classes provided in the local area
– Involving in English speaking clubs and engaging in the activities of Edificio Jove
Be aware Alcala la Real is a small town with a lot of opportunities that you will find so give it a time!
