The “Giovanni Paolo II” is a nonprofit association, created in 2011, with the aim of providing social and educational services to families and youth. The association is inspired by the Christian vision of the dignity of human person, the integrity of the family, the fundamental importance of education, solidarity, and social cooperation. To realize these values, the association promotes several activities and projects on the cultural, educational, training and cooperation fields to protect and promote the value of human life, responsible parenting, the integrity of family, the rights of minors to access a high-quality education.

AS A VOLUNTEER YOU WILL…
Activity prep: get creative and help gather all the materials and accommodation we need to make weekly activities awesome Social Media & Marketing expertise: put your social medial skills to use by improving and renovating our website, our marketing posts and our communication channels.
Teaming up with educators: join in on supporting students’ homework, especially on the school subjects you are more savvy on Enjoy playing as a way to learn: dive into daily playful activities with children and teenagers’ students.
Gardening: revitalize the garden project to be used as a tool to introduce children and teenagers to the fundamentals of botany and biology.

Profil recherché

Volunteer should be responsible, motivated, proactive, patient, tolerant and flexible to adapt to changes. Firstly, need to be high motivated to work with people with disability, secondly in the workshop activities and thirdly in living in Italy. Motivated to learn the Italian language. Determined to learn, dynamic, versatile, positive, curious, respectful, sensitive. Motivated for teamwork and educational paths. Able to share a flat with other young Europeans. Passionate for the activities we offer.
A good attitude toward animals is very important, and previous experience, especially with horses, is highly appreciated. Previous riding lessons are ideal. You have to be aware that ESC is not a vacation, it is not just travelling to another country, but it is a full-time learning experience in safe environment.
