Animation role within the College Students Council

Département de Seine-Maritime is an administration working from childhood to the end of life, social action and disability, integration, youth, sports and culture. The proposed assignment will take place within the youth departement. The College Students Council is a group of students (13-14 years old) elected within secondary schools for two years. They meet up through various commissions (sports, solidarity, environment, and culture) in order to develop projects.

In this context the volunteer will have for main mission in connection with his tutor to :

– Participate in the installation of the council of college students, co-animate the commissions,

– Accompany the college students in the realization of their project: outing, video…,

– Promote Europe through the developpement of a project to be defined collectively,

– In addition to his main missions, the volunteer will promote international mobility.

The volunteer will leave in a studio equipped in Rouen (left bank). Residents of the young workers residence may participate in sports or cultural activities if they wish, on weekend or weekdays. All amenities and shops are located close to the flat. A transport pass will provided to the volonteer to enable them to be independent. The mission location will be situated about 10 min by bike or 20 min by public transport. The office is located 23 rue de crosne in Rouen, next to “place du vieux marché” in the right center of the city.

Profil recherché

Age between 18-25. Resident of an EU country. Responsibility, curious, patience and tolerance. You are flexible, creative. You enjoy leading projets. Good level in writing and spoken french is a plus. You can use office and presentation software (such as canva). Experience working with children or teenagers is a plus.
