This project takes place in Norway.

Rückwind Woodwork is a space for women who want to try new things, learn and create something with their own hands.

Learn the basics of woodworking and blacksmithing. The focus is on working with natural materials, hands-on experience and the opportunity to explore your creativity.

Think you can’t do it, but you’re still curious?

This is your chance to prove yourself wrong!

Just give it a try – no pressure.

Additional workshops include metal casting and jewellery making, experiments with historical styles and techniques, as well as making furniture and interior solutions for the Rückwind group’s Tiny House.

Rückenwind Woodwork ist ein Raum für Frauen, die ausprobieren, lernen und mit ihren eigenen Händen etwas erschaffen wollen.

Lerne die Basics von Holzverarbeitung und Schmiedekunst. Im Mittelpunkt stehen das Arbeiten mit natürlichen Materialien, handwerkliche Selbstwirksamkeit und deine Möglichkeit dich auszuprobieren.

Einfach mal ausprobieren – ganz ohne Druck.

Zusätzlich gibt es Workshops zu Metallguss und Schmuckherstellung, Experimente mit historischen Stilen und Methoden sowie die Anfertigung von Möbeln und Einrichtungslösungen für das Tiny-House der letzten Rückenwindgruppe.

Profil recherché

We are looking for female participants aged 18–30 who are curious about hands-on work and interested in discovering woodworking, blacksmithing and other crafts.

No previous experience is required. Participants should be motivated, open-minded, willing to try new things and enjoy learning through practical activities.

An interest in craftsmanship, creativity, natural materials and sustainable living is a plus, as well as the willingness to work and learn together as part of a group.

Language: As four participants from Austria will also take part in the project, the main working and communication language will be German. Participants should therefore feel comfortable communicating in German. English may also be used when needed.
