ESC LIPU 2026 Infopack-1

Activities:

-Bird monitoring.
-Feeding and temporary care of injured birds.
-Monitoring of plant species.
-Gardening.
-Trash collection in lake, beach, and reserve.
-Renovation and creation of bird observatories.
-Habitat maintenance and various constructions.
-Helping in the on-site shop and small museum.
-Guiding small eco-walks.
-Driving little boats.
-Administrative tasks (explaining paths to visitors, receiving payments, track bookings, etc).
-School education workshops.
-Environmental events support.
-Preparation and cleaning of rooms for guests.
-Cleaning spaces (house, visitor toilets, museum).
-Cooking meals for the team and big groups.

By taking part in this project, volunteers actively contribute to the ongoing effort to protect rare species, promote sustainable living, and ensure the future of this precious natural area.

Profil recherché

We are looking for passionate, open-minded, and sociable individuals who care deeply about nature.

🏡 Comfortable living in a rural and isolated area
🔨️ Ready to do manual tasks and get your hands dirty — in all weather conditions
🐦 Comfortable working directly with animals (e.g. injured birds)
🗣️ Willing to lead or support environmental workshops for children, youth, and adults
🥬 Open to a mainly vegetarian lifestyle (with occasional local animal products)
🧑🏻‍🍳 Ready to cook for yourself, team, and big groups
✅ Aged 18–30 and a citizen or resident of an EU country
📝 Intermediate English and strong motivation to learn Italian
🏠 Willing to share living spaces, including bedrooms, with people of different genders
🥣 Willing to contribute to cleaning of the house and territory
