The Forest Village consists is a demonstration of community-based sustainable living with a series of small ecological huts in the forest, a real living example of how to live in closer contact with nature. Two huts will be built in Autumn 2026, with four more planned for Spring 2027.

During six weeks of hands-on experience, will be a high emphasis on experimentation with different natural-building techniques and an exploration of how we can reuse and recycle materials to minimise our impact on the environment. Educational outreach will be a big part of the project, with a participatory and educational building process to make knowledge accessible and replicable.

Volunteers will learn about eco-construction, permaculture, and sustainability, all while living in an international community. You will live, learn, and grow alongside around 50 people, sharing meals, a free daily activities program, and the joy of creating something together.
