Tâches du volontaire :

The project focuses on environmental awareness in all aspects and is truly needed all around our planet. The main purpose of the project is to raise awareness about sustainability among young local and international people in their daily life. We want to bring up some fresh ideas that can help the young people and the organization to improve the way that we treat mother earth. The Project Coordinators will work as a team under the supervision of the Project Manager of the organization. They will organize and run programs for both short-term/long-term volunteers, which will do 5–7 hours of environmental work during weekdays. They will also participate in Nature-oriented, Educational, and Environmental Protection Projects in Iceland. In each group, there are two or three leaders from the organization. Additionally, as leaders, they will act as role models, creating a good atmosphere in the group!

Profil recherché :

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-driven candidates who can work independently on projects and can bring and implement ideas and all-scale solutions to climate change reduction and sustainable lifestyles. English is the language spoken in our camps therefore a good knowledge of English is required. Motivated to live with other international volunteers and lead a sustainable lifestyle and fight global warming. Excited to spend Five Months in Iceland. An Environmental Science background is a plus Outdoors personality; recreational activities such as; hiking, camping, swimming, etc,.
