Le Gouvernement du Grand-Duché du Luxembourg

After arrival and a short introduction to the theme the first week will be dedicated to sharing ideas to make the Knowledge Garden more functional and aesthetically appealing. The volunteers, with the support of experts and community members, will exchange ideas on how to furnish the space and make it accessible for the children, youth, and adults who attend the Agorateca.

Starting from the second week, the volunteers will focus on carrying out the planned activities, following sustainability principles and using recycled materials. The items to be created may include, for example: bookshelves, stools and benches, cushions, shelves, tables, and anything else that can contribute to enhancing the functionality and aesthetics of the Knowledge Garden.
TIn the final week, the last details will be finalized and community events will be organized to share the work that has been done.

Volunteers will live in a large flat at Altamura, in front of the train station, with separate rooms for male and female.
They will receive pocket money and food money and will self manage the meals.
Agorateca is within walking distance from the accommodation. Other transportation during the project will be provided by the organization.
