Volunteers will stay in a private apartment equipped with a kitchen and bathroom that meets ESC standards. They will be able to prepare their own meals, and we make sure all necessary food and ingredients are available by assisting with grocery shopping or covering expenses.
Fredrikstad is a compact city with good public transport – we provide a bus card for local travel, and the club also has a car available for project-related activities.
Volunteers receive strong support in adapting to local life and can attend basic Norwegian language sessions to help them integrate into the community. English is used as the main working language.
We ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. Volunteers’ wellbeing is a top priority, and they always have access to guidance and support.
Our club also promotes environmentally friendly practices, such as reducing waste, using public transport, and organising green community events. Volunteers are encouraged to document and share their experiences through photos, short videos, or blog posts, helping to inspire others to take part in solidarity activities.
