Sustainability & Greener Life

During this Team ESC project, young people will actively contribute to the local community through a variety of practical and creative activities.
Main activities include:
Indoor renovation and artistic painting: helping to renovate community buildings, painting walls, and creating artistic decorations that bring color and life to public spaces.
Outdoor work: cleaning and maintaining the local environment, riverbanks, and nearby historical sites to preserve their natural and cultural value.
Support at the horse farm (Zrebcfn): assisting with practical tasks such as repairing fences and horse enclosures, cleaning, and small restoration work.
What to bring:
Participants sh0uld bring working clothes, sturdy shoes, a sun hat, sunscreen, and any personal medication they may need.
All necessary working tools and gloves will be provided by the hosting organisation.
lntercultural dimension:
Volunteers are encouraged to bring materials from their home country (flags, traditional food, music, costumes, etc.) to present their culture, history, gastronomy, and traditions during the lntercultural Evening for the local community.
They will also have the opportunity to explore the local area through excursions and cultural trips, and to participate in Slovak traditional cooking workshops.

Language support:
During the on-arrival training course, volunteers will receive an introduction to the Slovak language, helping them to better connect with local people and daily life.
The project offers a rich combination of community work, cultural discovery, and international cooperation, providing an unforgettable experience for all participants.
