The volunteer works at Folkhälsan associations afterschool club at Chydenius school. The children coming to club are aged 7-8 years. Club activities are run from 11-17 from Monday to Friday. Before the club the volunteer can helps with other pre- activities such from 10-11. Tasks include for example: play indoor and outdoor games with children, help with homework, organize activities like cooking, learning languages, handicrafts, music lessons by using volunteers own ideas and skills for planning and developing different kind of activities. Volunteer is encouraged to bring own ideas and skills in to practice and develop activities to children with the help of other staff

Volunteer can bring his/her own competences to the programme, for example if you are interested in music or arts, you can plan programme for the kids from that point of view.
