Beschreiwung vun der Missioun:
During the project, the volunteers will live in Youth Centre Villa Elba. The accommodation is in cottages (4-6 persons/cottage). Therefore, it requires patience and flexibility, as you will share the cottage with other people during the whole project.
Meals are served in Villa Elba during on arrival training, and during the rest of the project, volunteers will get lunch at Villa Elba but prepare other meals themselves.
Villa Elba provides bed sheets and towels.
Working hours:
approx. 35 hours /week. Working days are usually from Monday to Friday between 8-16, but sometimes working time can be in evenings or weekends.
Aufgaben vum Volontaire:
Volunteers will help the staff of Villa Elba with Christmas preparations and organizing Elf path events for kindergartens and families. The work includes: practical work to help to build up the Elf path. The work is many-sided: to prepare the branch elves, prepare lanterns and lights, plan and prepare activities for the path, and update the costumes for elves lead activities for visiting groups as an elf. We offer a program for kindergartens during 10 days, and during those days volunteers are leading activities they planned themselves for the visiting groups.

We wish that the volunteers are interested in working with children and feel confident to act as an elf. There is no need of previous experiences, just the interest to try it out and learn more!
Volunteering activities helps you to broaden your picture of the world and gives you chance to develop your multicultural skills. You strengthen your language skills and gain more confidence to act in different situations. By participating in the project, you develop many skills related to working life, teamwork and living abroad.
