Tâches du volontaire:

The social care center “Vija” is a budgetary institution, that provides social care for disabled children and young people, left without parental care or lacking the basic skills to live independently. The volunteer would aim to create a comfortable and safe home-like environment for children and adults, seeking to protect the rights and interests of our clients. You would also aid in developing our client’s ability to take care of themselves and help our clients integrate successfully into society. We also need help organizing and carrying out various activities with client groups (board games, sports activities, music therapy, etc.) and also various outdoor activities with clients (walking, playing outdoor games). You can work alongside our employees and assist the occupational therapist of our care home (dog therapy, handicrafts, etc.).
