Welcome to the vibrant and dynamic House of Generations! In our institution, we provide diverse social services, to residents spanning various age groups. Our organization is home to around 40 elders harmoniously and 11 young, resilient mothers and their children who add boundless energy to our community. We also operate as a Day Center for the elderly organizing a variety of interesting and engaging activities. If you decide to join us as a volunteer, you’ll be at the heart of it all. We provide the opportunity to participate in activities tailored to our diverse clientele. From tending to the needs of our beloved elders to teaching those new languages and computer skills, your impact will be felt throughout the center. And for our young mothers, you’ll be a guiding light, imparting invaluable domestic skills and easing the demands of daily life. However, please note that it requires patience and empathy to create a close relation with the elderly and young mothers.

Tâches du volontaire:

The volunteer will assist in organizing activities for different client groups:
Communication and caring for the elderly – you will spend most of the time with people who have dementia.
Teaching a foreign language or computer literacy in the “Day Center for the Elderly”.
Getting to know the young mothers, assisting them in children care, helping children to prepare their homework, preparing lunch, shopping.
Helping to organize various events for all residents or visitors.
Assisting employees with household chores.
